Welcome to the Coq Hardi campsite on the Arcachon basin!
The team at Le Coq Hardi campsite will be delighted to welcome you for a seaside holiday, with its two direct accesses to the beach on the Arcachon basin, in a friendly, family atmosphere. Created in 1960 by Mr and Mrs Violes, it's a family affair. After the son, it's the granddaughter who has taken over the campsite.
For your stay in Gironde, we offer you a wide choice of rental accommodation with our chalets and mobile homes, as well as traditional camping pitches for your caravan, motorhome or tent. Ideal for a holiday that's just like you!
You can enjoy free use of the aquatic area right on the seafront (overlooking the Bay of Arcachon) with its 2 swimming pools and a splash pool with 2 slides. What's more? Entertainment for all ages every day from 2 July to 28 August.
Two direct accesses to the beach on the edge of the Arcachon basin
The campsite is located on the edge of the Arcachon Basin on a flat 80,000 m² site, with 329 pitches, so it's very spacious. A family campsite near Arcachon, benefiting from an invigorating yet soothing iodised breeze due to the tides, it's a paradise for children and a haven of peace for parents.
A traditional campsite for your holidays in Gironde in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Of our 329 pitches, 46 are for mobile homes or chalets to rent, around a hundred are reserved for mobile homes or caravans and the rest are for traditional camping. Our aim is to maintain the friendly, family atmosphere of a real caravanning campsite in Gironde, in the heart of the Bay of Arcachon.
And staff on hand 24 hours a day to deal with the slightest problem!
We wish you an excellent holiday in Aquitaine, the starting point for many visits to the Gironde and, of course, the Arcachon basin, a marvellous ocean cove between dunes and pine forests, but also the Médoc, with its splendid vineyards and castles, many of which can be visited.

Our campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility and provides access to a large number of services, except access to the play area and swimming pool.
Of course, an adapted chalet for 6 people is available for hire.
